So, It has been awhile since I have posted so I thought I would do a quick update. Not much has been going on. We started off the New Year with a couple of resolutions, which I'm pretty sure we've already stopped or forgot about! Oh well, there is always next year, RIGHT? Anyways, the kids are doing great! Ashtyn is growing into such a little lady. She is CONSTANTLY playing dress up! All day, Every day she changes her clothes atleast 5 times! She even sleeps at nap time and at night in a dress-up dress! If I put jammies on her she just gets out of bed and puts a dress on, then gets back in bed again.
She is truly a sleeping beauty!
Not, too bad for my first one, right?
She is truly a sleeping beauty! You can see that she is wearing her purple dress today. She insists on wearing it backwards. She wants the jewels on the back. Who knows what goes on in her cute head?! Camden is still just as happy as ever. He is 15 months now and I can't believe how time flies. He still isn't walking, but has taken a couple steps here and there. I've decided he just takes it one step at a time! Chris and I are also wonderful! Chris is still as busy as ever. Between work and his Stake calling his days fill up quickly. I am so grateful for how hard he works and still has time and energy for me and the kids! He is a wonderful husband and father! As for me, I have been doing a few small projects along with taking care of Ashtyn and Camden. The kids and I have walked up to the park a lot lately since it has been so nice outside. This past Tuesday I started taking a photography class at the college. It was so fun. It is for 4 Tuesdays for an hour each night. I have already learned a lot. I am planning on taking a few more of the other photography classes after this one. I don't plan on being a real photographer or anything, I just have a lot of fun taking pictures of my kids, and want to learn how to take REALLY great pictures of them. It is also a great get-a-way from the kids and to have time to myself. Next, I wanted to sew a "carseat canopy." So, I went to the store and bought fabric, and sewed one. I was so proud of myself because I did it with no pattern or measurements! I thought it turned out so cute! It's not quite "professional" or anything but it was a good starter one. (and no, I'm not pregnant or anywhere close, I just wanted a fast, easy project for a day!) Here is a pic of how it turned out. I was going to add some buttons for flowers to the top, but haven't done it yet. I hope you enjoyed my long update!!
