Ashtyn once again participated in the Coral Canyon Talent Show! She loves to perform, that's for sure. I actually wasn't thrilled about her wanting to do it again because we didn't have any time to prepare music or anything before "tryouts." She begged and cried that she wanted to do it, so I let her. It turned out a lot more relaxed this year with much fewer practices and more spread out so it wasn't so much dedication on my part:) Anyways, she picked the song "Tomorrow" from the movie Annie. The talent show was during school hours so it was a school asssembly. She played it wonderfully and we are just so proud of her!
I took the kids to "preschool swim time" at the community center. They thought it was amazing to go swimming!
I decided to start painting Ashtyn's room a couple Friday nights ago. So Saturday morning we ran to walmart, picked out a bedspread, went to Home Depot for paint, and then got to work. Ashtyn painted her entire room (to where she could reach) one coat. She did a great job!
We colored Easter eggs Thursday night:
Friday we went to the river to play and skim board:
Friday night we had baseball. Chris is coaching Camden's baseball team. It has been so much fun so far! Camden love loves it!
We always have the Easter bunny come Saturday morning. The Easter bunny changed it up a bit this year and hid them across the street in the empty lot. It turned out really fun because the kids didn't know all the usual hiding spots.
Saturday morning we went down to the Gorge at Cedar Pocket for a BBQ with the Cram family. It was a blast! We did some more skim boarding and relaxing in the beautiful weather!
Monday of Easter Break we went swimming at Donna's neighborhood pool. I was really worried it wasn't going to be warm enough, but it turned out perfect!
Finally, a couple pics of our trip to the Children's Museum today:
Our little family started when Chris and I at church. Shortly after, we were married in August of 2004 in the St. George temple. We have 4 beautiful children- Ashtyn, Camden, Collin, and Adisyn. They are a lot of work, but they make our lives worth living. We love our life!
