Let the good times begin!

Tonight for Family Home Evening we put up the tree and decorated it. We also got out all our Christmas decorations, too. The kids thought it was so much fun and are now super excited for Christmas!

For a treat we had a cinnamon roll....YUMMO!!!

Then....we had a "surprise" knock at the door from our good friend Fred the Elf. Oh, my goodness they were so excited to see him again! Ha, Ha! I am so glad Fred came back to make sure the kids are being good so Santa can bring them presents on Christmas ;) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this tradition!

Adisyn @ 2 weeks

Our little princess is already 2 weeks. We are having so much fun with her. She is still a good baby and sleeps a lot. She has been only getting up one time in the night which is SO good for me! Here are some 2 week old pictures:

Ashtyn turns 6!

Ashtyn's "real" birthday kinda got put on the back burner since I was induced on her birthday. I think she ended up having a couple "birthdays" so she was still happy. I knew I was gonna be induced right on her day so we decided to celebrate it on the Saturday before. She chose to go to McDonald's for lunch and then she wanted to go to the Dollar Store to spend her money that Grandma and Grandpa gave her. Right before bedtime we had brownies and sang Happy Birthday. Here she is before blowing out the candles.

Ashtyn is such a funny and smart girl. She loves anything girlie especially make-up (if I let her have it, ha!) and dresses. She loves to do any sort of art- coloring, painting, cutting, gluing, taping, glitter, just anything to make stuff with. I went to parent-teacher conference this morning and her teacher told me how she is a very good student. She listens and stays on task and is nice to all her classmates. She is at or above average in all the subjects, too. We just love her so much!

7 Days New

Adisyn is one week today! She is so sweet and a really good baby. I forgot to mention that at her Dr. appointment at 3 days old she had gained 2 ounces weighing 6.1 lbs. They measured her at 19 inches, so I think she was longer than the hospital measured her.

She is just so precious!!

Our other kids are loving her, too! They are handling the change pretty good. Camden insists that her name is Addie Adisyn Hope. That's what he calls her every time. It is so funny.
When my mom was here she asked Camden how we knew that Addie is a girl. He had no answer. So then she asked him how he knew he was a boy. He responded, "because boys have oval faces!" Ha, Ha! Good answer!

All dressed up and no where to go!

Yesterday Adisyn had a Dr. appointment and I thought she looked so cute in her car seat so I took this cute picture of her. Isn't she just so yummy!!!

Today after I got her dressed she looked just TOO DANG CUTE not to take a bunch of pictures. I couldn't decide which one I liked the best so there is a major overload of pictures.

We just love this little girlie!

She's here! Finally, our sweet little Adisyn is here safe and sound and we are just LOVING her! I was scheduled to be induced on November 8 (Ashtyn's birthday). My Dr. took pity on me and told me if I wanted to be induced at 39 weeks I could. I jumped at the chance to have her here sooner rather than later!
The hospital called and told us to be there @ 6:30 a.m. Chris and I were both up all night from the anticipation just waiting for them to call. I also was having contractions from about 2 a.m. This labor was SUPER fast to me and I just loved that it went so fast and smooth.
By 7:40 a.m. the Dr. had broke my water, I had in my IV (which is one of my least favorite parts, but the nurse did it so quick I had no time to get nervous :) and they had started pitocin.

The nurse checked me and I was still at a 2 and 80% effaced. At about 8:40 a.m. I was ready for the epidural. I get so nervous for the epidural but it was done and over with SO quickly it wasn't bad at all! The epidural worked great. I was so relaxed and loving it. By 9:30 a.m. I was at a four. The nurse then waited 2 hours before she checked me again. I was just hoping and praying I would be at least to a 6. This was about 11:45 a.m. and she checked and I was to an 8. I was so surprised to be that far already. I knew that once I get to an 8 I go so fast so we knew it would be soon. About 12:10 p.m. the nurse checked again and I was complete. They got everything ready, called the Dr. and I pushed through 2 contractions and she was HERE!!! She is beautiful and couldn't be more perfect!!! I am so grateful that everything went so smoothly and she is healthy. Our stay at the hospital was great. We are so glad to be home and all is well!

She looks a lot like Camden here.

Our other kids are just loving their new sister!

Getting ready to leave the hospital and go home!

Happy Halloween!!!

All I can say is thank heavens October is OVER! Ha! It has been one CrAzY busy month. (Camden actually asked me why we have a birthday EVERY day!) Which it totally felt like it! It has been a ton of fun though, too! We sure got some good use out of our costumes this year which really makes me happy. I think the kids got to dress up 4 out of 5 days in a row and they LOVED it. Luckily their costumes were very simple, no make-up, or hair to worry about!

Cutest crayons ever!!!

Ashtyn at her school Halloween parade.....

Trick-or-treating....
Thursday Camden had a preschool party, Friday was the kids' Halloween/Birthday party, Saturday was the Trunk-or-Treat, and finally Monday was the real Halloween. Whew! Monday we went to the Kindergarten costume parade, then that evening we quickly put their costumes on, took a few pictures, and then we went "real" trick-or-treating. We just went up and down one street and the kids got tons of candy. They were happy and so were we! Happy Halloween!!!
