What miserable looks like!

We have all had this evil virus this week. Ashtyn started with a fever on Monday, (six WHOLE days ago.) She has been in bed, not doing a thing since then. Her fever was about 104 for a couple days. She also has a cough and stuffy nose. We called the Dr. and they said to bring her on Friday if she still had the fever. Thursday night her ear started hurting, too. So, Friday we took her to the Dr. to find out she has an ear infection and eye infection. Collin started with the fever on Wednesday afternoon. Camden and Addie started on Friday morning. I haven't felt good since Monday, but I was mostly sick just Thursday and Friday.(I am feeling sorry for myself because I missed my 10 mile run, which I now get to run EARLY (3:45 A.M.) on Monday.) We have just laid around the house all week. Fun,huh? It really makes you grateful for when you do feel good. I took these pictures trying to capture how sickly they look. They insisted on smiling even though they don't feel good. They have been excellent sick patients. Lots of quiet time and napping.
When Chris took Ashtyn to the doctor, he was saying how she hasn't got out of bed for about 3 days. Then Ashtyn says " Yes I have, I went from mom's bed to the couch!" Ha, Ha!

Father's Day

For Father's Day from the kids I had Ashtyn and Camden answer this questionnaire for Chris, my dad, and Chris' Dad. They gave some really cute answers. I didn't take a picture of Chris' dad's paper cause I forgot :( (Click on the pictures to be able to read the answers) I didn't give them ANY ideas of what to say, either. I love that on Chris' answers, both kids said that their dad "always says that he loves me." They are right, their dad does love them and is a great dad! (I can't figure out why the pictures and words won't post the way I put them????)

Addie is 7 1/2 months

Adisyn is already 7 1/2 months and doing so many new things. I just wanted to jot down a few things to remember her at this age. *She started scooting at about 6 months, and about 2 weeks later she was crawling. She finds EVERY little teeny weeny thing she can and puts it in her mouth :) *She got her bottom 2 teeth in around 6 months, and any day her top two are gonna poke through. *She said "mama" for the first time at about 7 months, and she also says "more." Just last night she was sitting on my lap while I was on the computer. She looks up at me and starts saying "mama, mama, mama." I thought it was the sweetest thing EVER! *She is basically grown out of 6-9 months clothes, but 9-12 months are a little big. *Her 6 1/2 month stats were: 17.2 lbs (65%),and 26" (56%). JUST RIGHT! Perfectly chubby legs and cheeks! *After she is done nursing, or in between bites of baby food, she smacks her lips. It is so funny and cute! Here are some cute bath time pictures: I had to put this one on just so I can remember those yummy chubby legs!

No training wheels!

Last week Camden insisted on learning to ride his bike with no training wheels. I took him out front and helped him for a minute, then he was off on his own! He took it slowly and mostly taught himself. He loves to ride his bike now! (He learned to ride on Ashtyn's since her training wheels were already off) He put my sunglasses on this day, I think because he thought it would keep him cooler! He looked so silly!

Soccer

I totally forgot to blog about Camden playing soccer back in March. He loved every minute of soccer. I think his favorite part was just being on a team, and getting to wear a uniform, shin guards and cleats. He felt so grown up and important. Man, I sure LOVE this boy!

Summer fun- Play dates!

A friend and I switch play dates during the week. She takes my older two kids on Mondays from 10-2:00 and I take hers on Wednesdays. Last week we made jello jigglers and "puffy paint pictures." Here are our cheesy kiddos!
