2013 OConnor Family Book

I finished our family "year book" today. I went through Mixbook last year and loved it so I went through them again. I like the size of the book and the quality is great! I can't wait for it to come in the mail :)

Christmas Break Trip

I took the kids up to my parents house so that we could go sledding and play in the snow during Christmas break. I had been sick and was sorta on the mend, Ashtyn was almost 100% but the others were just getting it! We left Saturday, December 28th. I had hopes that they would magically get a shortened version of the sickness, but that didn't happen. We still had a lot of fun and I'm so glad we went, but we weren't able to do as much as we'd hoped. We just hung out most of the time, which was very relaxing. Monday night we went up to Midway to see the Ice Castle. It was super cool! Three of my kids cried the whole time, which was sad. The castle was incredible though! Tuesday we decided to brave sledding. We found a cool hill close to Grandma's house. We played there for an 1 1/2 hours and had so much fun! Adisyn was adorable! She would just sit on her bum and go down the hill by herself. She kept saying "again, again!" She looked too cute in her bright pink eskimo suit (that I found on the yard sale,yay!) It was exhausting going back up the hill, especially carrying her, but so worth it! Wednesday we went to lunch at Pizza Factory and played mini golf while we waited for our table. Then we went sledding again at the Murray park. We had a lot of fun! I can't wait to go back up there and try tubing or something!

Christmas Day

Santa found us again this year and spoiled us rotten. Camden was up at 3:45 AM! He woke up Ashtyn and Collin sometime after that. They had to wait until 7:00 when Grandma, Grandpa, Candice, Kaden, and Grandpa O’Connor would be there. I should’ve busted out my real camera cause all these pics stink, but oh well. You can enjoy all the backs of their heads and blurry pics

Ashtyn got an ipod touch 4, ipod case, loom bands, binder/pencils,slippers, undies, socks, brush/comb and earrings.
Camden got an electric razor scooter, power rangers stuff, nerf gun, undies, socks, angry birds slippers, and a tie.
Collin got a marble track, legos w/ a handy dandy lego mat/bag, power rangers stuff, spider man slippers, undies, socks, nerf gun, and a tie.
Adisyn got a new bike, leap frog lap top, doll carrier, doll diapers, earrings, “mimmie mouse” slippers, magnadoodle, big girl undies, and sheets for her big girl bed.
Santa also bought the family the games Sorry and Guess Who?
Chris had me open mine from him right away. I opened it and it was a purse. Then, it started vibrating, so I looked inside and it was a NEW I PHONE!
Kevin and I gave Chris a Pressure Washer.

After opening presents and eating cinnamon rolls we all played with the new stuff and then showered. We went down to Grandpa O’Connor’s house to exchange gifts with him. He spoiled us rotten, too!
Ashtyn got a speaker for her ipod, itunes gift card, barbies/clothes, and a piggy bank that counts your money. Camden got the Skylanders Wii game, cars, piggy bank. Collin got a razor scooter, cars, piggy bank. Adisyn got a puppy, hello kitty stuff, leap frog game.
Then, we came home for lunch and more gifts! We had a yummy lunch and then exchanged gifts with my family. Beau and Megan were even here :) My parents spoiled the kids AGAIN! Seriously, Santa did not need to come with grandparents around! I got some new knifes, Ashtyn got a hair/nail kit, Camden got a cool remote control helicopter/sphere, Collin got a huge thing of Avengers Coloring stuff, and Adisyn got a cute outfit. She gave all the kids a cool headlamp and the game Headbands. Candice also gave the kids gifts!

It was a long tiring day but it was so fun! We have been so blessed this year! Merry Christmas!
