While the cat's away, the mice will play!

Chris went on his anual fishing trip to Canada, so I took the kids to my parents house for another little vacation.

Grandma helped Ashtyn sew a pair of pajama pants. Ashtyn cut it out and sewed the whole thing. She is a natural!

I convinced Candice to run the Farmington 10K with me and Shelli and my mom ran the 5K. It was so much fun! I beat my previous time by 3 minutes (1:12 minutes) which I was happy with! The breakfast afterwards was delicious and might have been the best part!

Not sure why the bowling pictures showed up first, but Monday night we went bowling and ate at Pizza Factory. Fat Cats has .99 cent bowling in the summer, so it's extra awesome:) I scored some season passes to Seven Peaks for just $10/person. So Monday and Tuesday we spent a couple hours there. It was so fun! Camden was amazingly brave and loved the big huge fast slides!

Wednesday we found this AMAZING HUGE splash pad/park! It's called the Sierra Newbold Park in West Jordan (for future reference:) The park is gigantic and isn't your typical park. It had so many different types of things to play on.

I don't have pictures but I took just the boys school shopping one day, then just the girls school shopping the next day:)
We drove up Millcreek Canyon and roasted hot dogs and smores for dinner Thursday night.

It was a great mini vacation and it made my week without Chris go by quickly!
