Winter Vacation

Winter Vacation! Monday night, we had tickets to our first Jazz game. It was the perfect evening! We went to dinner at the Gateway mall, walked over to the arena, got a picture with Thurl Bailey, watched an exciting game, then when we came out of the game, it was snowing. It is so magical when it snows! (I’m a nerd, I know) The kids were SO cute at the Jazz game. The game started out slow, but after half time it got really close! The kids cheered and yelled “DEFENCE” so much their voices were raspy. Luckily, the jazz ended up winning by 4 points in the last couple seconds. Whew!

The next couple days we went sledding a bunch. Oh man, it is SO fun! It looks so cold, but we stay so warm everytime. You work up sweat climbing up the hills! We just laugh and laugh everytime we go down the hills. We went to Grandma’s school and then also to the golf course. Both places are within 2 minutes of grandma’s house, so it’s perfect. The kids also tried out their new snowboards. They were champs at it!
In between sledding fun, we went to IKEA, lunch at Pizza Factory, helped decorate grandma’s house, played games, had a New Year’s Party, and just had fun!

Grandma's gallery wall turned out so cute! (Crappy lighting for the picture though!)
For New Year's Eve, Shelli and Rex, and Beau and Megan join us. We ate dinner, played Pie Face, charades, Telestration, and 5 names. So Fun!
