Surgery

I've had this lump growing on my right wrist since I was 12. It was getting really big and my deductible is met for the year, so I finally decided to have it removed. Monday, December 15 I went in around 11:45. They checked me in, gave me an IV, and then took me to the operating room around 1:30. I was out for about 1 hr and 30 minutes total. The surgery was about 30 minutes. Everything went really really smooth. I had very little pain. I was totally back on my feet the next morning, other than having my right hand all wrapped up. It was a pain, but it only had to be wrapped for 48 hours. I had to keep the stitches and tape dry for 2 weeks, then I could take it all off. I ended up having the stitches out only 4 days after my surgery because of the holidays and me leaving town. I am really glad I finally got my "little friend" taken off! Oh, and by the way, it was a TUMOR! We always thought it was a Ganglion Cyst!

Holy smokes! Glad it's gone and you don't have to worry about it anymore!
