Ashtyn's Baptism

Ashtyn is officially a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been crying over this day since last February. The weekend didn't turn out the way I had dreamed it would. I wanted there to be a nice dinner after the baptism. I wanted to set up a pretty table with Ashtyn's baptism pictures displayed, a cute banner, and a special thank-you gift to those who came to share her day. BUT I was in bed sick the 2 weeks prior. What DID happen, was that she was baptized and confirmed and it was beautiful and perfect. The important things DID happen and that's all that matters. She later told us "I felt the holy ghost telling me that I was making the right choice." She is such a special little girl and we are so proud to be her parents. I am so happy she made the right choice to be baptized and it is a day our family will never forget.

She got a new set of scriptures with a case, a baptism bracelet, a necklace, a REAL CTR ring, scripture pen, scripture crayons, and a baptism bookmark. She was spoiled and loves all her new stuff! Thank you to all came to her special day! Especially those who traveled and made time in their busy schedules!
